Video: conference “Il senso della pace: prospettive sulla semiotica della guerra”
We are pleased to inform you of the publication of the videos of the semiotics conference “Il senso della pace” [The Sense of Peace] which was held in IULM on 29 September and 6 October 2023. The videos are hosted by the online semiotics magazine Ocula.

The conference hosted the speeches of our PI Jenny Ponzo and our team member Paolo Bertetti on the 29th. Jenny Ponzo talked about “The non-subjects of war” and Paolo Bertetti gave a speech on “A model of Christian-Muslim brotherhood: Paolo Dall’Oglio and the community of Deir Mar Musa”.
NeMoSanctI is a research project carried out at the University of Turin. It studies how models of sanctity have changed after the Second Vatican Council. To this end, it applies a pioneering methodology based on semiotic theory to a wide corpus of normative, judicial, and narrative texts.
This project has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement No 757314).
