The new monographic issue of Carte Semiotiche “Silver Age. Nuove culture della vecchiaia” [Silver Age. New cultures of old age], edited by Mauro Portello and Maria Pia Pozzato, host two articles by NeMoSanctI members: “The accumulation of an external memory: semiotic reflections on a counter-narrative about the aged body” by Jenny Ponzo and “Il superuomo che invecchia: la terza età nei fumetti di supereroi” by Francesco Galofaro .

NeMoSanctI is a research project carried out at the University of Turin. It studies how models of sanctity have changed after the Second Vatican Council. To this end, it applies a pioneering methodology based on semiotic theory to a wide corpus of normative, judicial, and narrative texts.
