At the seminary Icônes et écrans, talking about Saints and Internet memes
Semiotician Gabriele Marino and philosopher Gabriele Vissio are taking part in the third session of the international seminary “Icônes et écrans / Icone e schermi” organized by the Department of “Humanisme Numérique” at the Collège des Bernardins in Paris and the Department of Philosophy and Education at the University of Turin, and coordinated by Prof. Graziano Lingua.
The session is taking place at 3 PM, on June 19th, 2019, Wednesday, at the “Sala Commissioni” (ground floor) in Palazzo Nuovo, via S. Ottavio 20, Torino.
Their paper is entitled: “In His own viral images”: a semiotic and philosophical approach to Internet memes about religion, Christianity and saints.
