At the École Pratique des Hautes Études
Our team member Marco Papasidero is taking a seminar at the École Pratique des Hautes Études, in Alfonsina Bellio’s course on “Ethnologie religieuse de l’Occident contemporain”. The topic of his speech is “Dévotion et culte des saints dans le sud de l’Italie: les études de cas du bienheureuse Luigi Rabatà et de saint Gerardo Maiella”. The lesson will be online on 13 April 2021, h. 14.
NeMoSanctI is a research project carried out at the University of Turin. It studies how models of sanctity have changed after the Second Vatican Council. To this end, it applies a pioneering methodology based on semiotic theory to a wide corpus of normative, judicial, and narrative texts.
