At Religioni nel libro

Religioni del libro [religions in the book] is a series of meetings for the presentation of books on the religious phenomenon in history, culture, law and society. The meetings will be held at the Norberto Bobbio Library in Turin (Sala Merlini, ground floor, Campus Luigi Einaudi, Lungo Dora Siena 100), starting from Thursday 9 November 2023.

NeMoSanctI will be present on Thursday 14 December 2023 with Jenny Ponzo and Magda Kubas who will introduce and discuss Erminia Ardissino’s  Poesia in forma di preghiera. Svelamenti dell’essere da Francesco d’Assisi ad Alda Merini [Poetry in the Form of Prayer. Revelations of Being from Francis of Assisi to Alda Merini]. Furthermore, on Thursday 16 May 2024, Jenny Ponzo will discuss the volume  Manuale di agiografia. Fonti, storia e immagini della santità [Manual of hagiography. Sources, History and Images of Sanctity] by Marco Rochini and Giuliano Chiapparini.

What is NeMoSanctI?

 

NeMoSanctI is a research project carried out at the University of Turin. It studies how models of sanctity have changed after the Second Vatican Council. To this end, it applies a pioneering methodology based on semiotic theory to a wide corpus of normative, judicial, and narrative texts.

This project has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement No 757314).
